An Arizona man pleaded not guilty on Wednesday in Crawford County Circuit Court to transporting about 270 pounds of marijuana along Interstate 40. Jose Barrera, 41, of Tonopah is charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Van Buren police are continuing to investigate a Monday night drive-by shooting, although there have been no arrests yet. No one was injured in the incident, which was reported just after 11 p.m. around North 28th and Park streets, Lt. Brent Grill said.
